SAMWISE the Horse
Samwise is a nine year old 17h Thoroughbred - Trakehner gelding that brings me joy every day. Sam is a barn favorite for his friendly, cuddly personality, and his evident love for our sport, eventing. Sam’s strength is on the cross country course - brave, careful, and confident; a true teammate in the field.

Time spent with Samwise in the barn, in the ring, and on course, is a catalyst for the creative energy I get to bring to the studio. I feel privileged to have such a fantastic partner to learn with, adventure with, and grow with. I get to relive the beautiful moments in the saddle when I paint them on canvas, and experience the joy all over again when a painting starts to come to life.
